The virus spread far and wide, eliminating everything that stood in its way.
Wiping out farmlands and livestocks.
Closing shops and stalls, malls and markets.

It chased everyone indoors, cutting off lovers, isolating families, separating friends, and stealing fun from us.

It sent children away from the playing ground, the seesaw saw no friends, the roller-coaster didn't roll, the trampoline missed its friends that kept it busy, and the cart didn't run on its lanes.

It bonded small ties families, it revealed hidden flaws that busyness blinded us from. It revealed the angel and monsters we live with, and it tested the love we shared and proclaimed to each other. It also severed relationships that where binded by deceits.

It stole friends, colleagues and loved ones from us, leaving us with their memories, good or bad.

Amidst all, it tested out humanity, and made us believe we can overcome our worst situations. Truly, after darkness, comes light.
