Road To Damascus
My journey to Damascus
Was alive yet was dead in sin
Kinda clothed but naked
Tend to be full yet with an empty spirit
Seeing myself in a reflective mirror,
Pleading for death,
Questioning about my identity
Am I not a living being?
Ugliness was my beauty
With questions so deep,
Blaming my own... why she gave birth to me?
Like four cardinal points, trouble was everywhere.

The journey continued....
Persecuted his Holy Name
Mocked the Sacred Name of the Most High
Suicidal thoughts filled me up to the brim
Tried to end this life, but wasn't successful
Looked for other greener pastures where joy was found but still sadness clouded my spirit
Lived a hopeless life with blurry dreams
Joy , joy , joy: I heard it from afar
Smiling from the outside yet the heart was at max boiling point with bitterness and unforgiveness
To me , life was a survival of the fittest
Lacking that which gives life
Controlled by anger, hate.

My arrival at Damascus
Changed my whole being and mentality
Met the Lord physically
Enjoyed the company of angels with greetings
In dreams, visions; revealing to me secrets so deep
Like a husband and a wife, always in intimate relationship with my Creator
With secrets so deep, I get to know him better
Through life's trials, tests and temptations
Strengthened my relationship with him.

The beauty of Christ is so amazing
Being actually held in his arms like a new born baby
My body wasting away, but preserving my spirit for the better
Telling me don't cry for your spirit is resting
Gives me comfort in distressing moments
His face shone upon me
And called me to arise and shine
With him speaking, not in riddles or in proverbs, but with the plains of the Red Sea
With spiritual books so sacred and rare to find, I read with interpretation
His voice being my roadmap.

Jesus Christ is real and he lives in us and through us
Indeed with confidence, I will say, 'The Lord is my Shepherd'
Feeling power when I walk
Being sure that I am guarded
Like a President surrounded by his bodyguards, so with me, having the angels, heavenly army and the holy spirit with me.

Let this note be a pillar of strength to someone
An encouragement to one who is facing a lot of stigma,
My testimony of Jesus, a testimony of grace
Be blessed and keep dwelling in the secret place of the Most High.
