My name is shadene and this is my story for many years I tried to tell my story but fail to talk about it I was born and raised in the country of Jamaica in a small town with my family knowing my parent are poor we lived in a small two-room apartment I grow up with my three older sisters and my little brother my parents could all feed all five of us at the same time but they did anyway growing up as a child leaves me unbearable trauma I was beaten until I wanted to commit suicide at the age of fourteen I could bear the pain I was feeling inside my parents would fight all the time my father would beat my mother so bad she wouldn't leave the house for days we had times when we couldn't find anything the eat inside the house lucky our yard had a lot of fruit trees that we could eat from, things got so bad I couldn't sleep at nights I was so afraid of what might happen if they should start fighting again at one point I started to hate my father for everything sometimes at night I could hear mother crying softly in her room then i would start crying at the age of six i was depressed for a young girl i didnt had anyone to share what i was experiencing my sisters were too busy with their own problems and my brother was to small to understand what was going on so i never talk about it my brother had life easy mother would give him everything while i had to share everything with my sisters until they can aford new ones
just imagine sharing a bed with four other kids knowing you had little to give.
My mother, on the other hand, isn't perfect but she tried her best she's a party girl at the age of sixteen she dropped out of school since then she hasn't got the education she needs she would spend all her time partying with friends if she had to but that only got my father upset whenever my father beats her she would take it out on us when he's not around we lived in fair around our parents I was dramatized by them.
