Slurs On Life.
Celia, took a huge deep breath before answering the phone.
Realising that it was Edith, on the other end of the incoming call.
"Hi" Celia said. Trying to be as enthusiastic as possible, but her enthusiasm was soon masked by the fumes of toxicity, from the feeling that Edith made Celia feel within seconds of the call.
At first, Edith's conversation was sarcastic and then followed by a complete disconnection of unfeeling towards Celia, relating to a situation that occurred the previous week. That was nothing to do with Edith.
So with Edith's lack of verbal filter, and not caring as usual, how or what she said and how she might affect the other person on the receiving end of the call. Always creating some sort of emotional upset, that she was strongly able to send out each time, she continued on.
Celia, listened and listened and listened patiently as usual, just trying to defend herself as a person with also had a life and was filled with emotions.
It was the usual sense of bizarreness that would occur at times, with these calls.
Edith, would fully give her opinions on people that she still spoke to. Along with any situations that she was apart of even nothing to do with.
As well as trying to gain access to information on others, that she didn't speak to anyone. Always, trying her hardest to get Celia, to spill the beans. But Celia, never did.
Celia, was use to Edith's emotional games of manipulation and heavy patterns of white lies. That would reguarly be spun like a spider's web then...
