"Chelsea. Can you kindly get us some fruit juice?” Caleb pleaded. He has been quiet throughout the whole conversation.
“Are you alright?” Perez asked him

“yeah, I am. Just trying to digest this whole thing. Awkward and funny at the same time. Just hope we get better luck next time else am done with this dear sister”. They all laughed. Few minutes later….

“Alright brothers. Am here. Can we continue please” Chelsea said as she walked in with the fruit juice for her brothers.

“ For me, mine was very quick and I came home to sleep. Well we didn’t talk much online though but wanted to meet her anyway because she was attractive. Bella, that was her name. I picked her up at a junction and we drove to a restaurant. I tried to engage her in small talks but she wasn’t paying much attention”

“Was she playing candy crush too”? Chelsea enquired.

“Not at all, but seemed off minded. I asked her if everything was alright and she said yeah so ……. We finally got to the place. We ordered for something to eat and just then she started feeding me with her philosophy and attitude. How she doesn’t want a man to treat her like she owe them anything, how she always wanted to do things without the help of any man and so on and so forth. She was getting louder and louder and I felt embarrassed. It was time to leave, I asked for two checks. Paid for mine and left to wait in my car. Five minutes later, a waitress comes telling me my date is still seated there crying”

His siblings laughed out loud.

“ Are you serious? So what did you do?” Perez asked

“Well, I paid for her and drove her to the point I picked her up earlier in blissful silence”.

“I get it now. That was actually why you came home real quick”. Chelsea added. Perez ,you are next. I know you had a good date or?” She asked.

“It was fun being around her. I told her I liked her and our meeting was a date so yeah, she was aware. But along the line she made a statement which didn’t sound well to me though but I took it cool” Perez said.

“What did she say?” Kendrick asked

“As we were talking about life, she made a statement of how she wants her dream man to look like and from the description I was no where close to that imaginary man she had set up for herself. It practically brought my spirit down. But she was smart to notice. We decided to take a stroll at the mall and saw a sitting park and decided to rest. After a few minutes of silence she apologized for the comment she made earlier.
“What”? I calmly asked
“I know it wasn’t right for me to have said that because we both are planning on getting along better from here and am sorry about that” She said.

“Its fine. You girls have this kind of weird imagination in your mind. As in getting married to a British prince and live in a castle in luxury. It’s common and normal among you girls” I said .

“She looked at me with a smile and I smiled back. She was beautiful”.

“So cute” Chelsea said smiling.

“ we then decided to grab a bite to eat. We settled on pizza. That was her idea actually. We talked about life, our expectations from each other and other trivial matters. She sounded intelligent and an interesting person to be with. And well yes, after all the fun and talks, it was very hard to let go. I walked her to a taxi and surprisingly she left me with a passionate kiss”

“wow. Was it on the forehead, cheek or lips?” Kendrick asked

“what question is that. A kiss is a kiss”.

“C’mon, tell us. Where was it planted?” Caleb said.

“A kiss on the lips and I loved it”. He answered. And we had a long chat after and we still do. Just hope things turn out well for us”.
“And for my brothers, wish you guys the best of luck next time”. He added.
