"Tom!"Max,Jackson and Maria yelled.Tom looked up at them and didn't answer.But Max saw the hope in his eyes."Seriously?You are using a boy to get a tiny necklace when you are a king?!"Eve said in disbelief."When you see my plan work in action,you won't say that again"Etrak said.Eve looked at him in silence.
"Now,weakling go and take the necklace from the boy's neck"Tom glared at him and started to move to Max.Max's heart plummeted.Max had thought that Tom would fight back.But..when Tom slided to Max,he didn't take the necklace.Instead he ran to Max and hugged him.Then he stood next to him."Arrr!You little weakling!"Etrak snapped his fingers.Tom shooting a pained look at Max walked to Etrak's side and held up the necklace.Realizing the trick,Max touched his neck.He only found empty air.The necklace was gone!"Thought that Tom was on your side?HaHaHa"laughed Etrak.Maria started humming.and humming.and humming.Etrak's eyes bulked.¥ak scrambled to Etrak's side.All the shadow monsters were glancing up in confusion.That's when Eve,Max,Maria and Jackson started kicking some shadow butts.Eve slammed a karate kick to ¥ak's side making ¥ak moan in pain.And up went the wooden stick,making ¥ak evaporate.Jackson ran around in circles making shadow monsters twirl and twirl until they slammed into the floor.Maria pulled the sunlight drapes.Sunlight streamed through the open window making a lot of shadows evaporate.Until all was left was Etrak.Realizing he was alone,Etrak pulled all of his shadows out of Crystal's body.Crystal fell onto the floor,unmoving.Eve,Max,Maria and Jackson all stared as Etrak's shadows reached over six feet tall.And then,he picked up Crystal and Max.Max yelled and tried to get out of Etrak's grasp but Etrak slammed Max's head into the wall,making a sickening crunch.
Then he asked Jackson,"Who will die and who will live?
