The car sped through the dark night, it's headlights flashing, warning the incoming traffic and I was right there in front of it, unable to move, the call I received just now made me disoriented, and the blaring lights just added to my confusion. I couldn't comprehend the situation, before I could understand I felt searing pain all over my body, making me paralysed. My head was buzzing, people were screaming, someone was asking me to open the eyes, but I was tired, tired with the days spent working round the clock just to make feasible living.

I was tired of always giving up, tired of sacrifices, all I just wanted to do was close my eyes and rest. Not to worry about earning for tomorrow's food, or...
