Those Eyes On Me
I lived alone in my house. I have cat and dogs with me. I left home for work early in the morning and returned home around five or six in the afternoon. I cooked food for myself.
Beside my house is a funeral home. There were nights I heard someone sobbing in the middle of the night. The dogs barked and howled almost every night.
I could sense something different, so I used to turn on the lights around the house everynight.
Lately, my neighbors told me that there were men roaming around my house at night , it alarmed me.
From then on, I built a wall and gate around my house for security purposes. There were nights I couldn't sleep well because my dogs kept on barking angrily. I didn't go out to check because I was afraid that there's somebody outside my house.
I wondered why there were people who asked me if I was living alone.
Some of my dogs were poisoned. I could feel there were eyes keep on watching me.
