Stitched Up (Part 2)
A little while later, James and David came in the living room with a shotgun and a few pistols. They all are now seated in the living room watching the News.
After some more time pass, the News had something to say about their neighborhood, and it wasn't all fun in games.
News Reporter: It seems to appear that every resident of the Western Unity has disappeared over a course of a night. No one has came out of the house, nor has there been evidence to what's causing this mystery. No one knows what is happening, but people are already making theories to what happened to this lovely neighborhood. They will be sending authorities in the morning to find any clues to what happened to them all. We will keep you all posted as soon is we get the news.
Everyone looks at each other with worried faces.
James: Okay, that's not good.
David: Then there is something here.
Oscar: Yes, we should stay alert for the rest of the night.
Grey: What time is it?
David: It's 4 o'clock in the morning.
Grey: Good, I am going to sleep. Wake me up whenever something happens.
Oscar nods, then Grey falls into dream land. They all then look at the TV just in case of an update.
36 minutes later...
Grey was still asleep, and David had joined him. Nothing has happened and it was becoming the most boring experience James ever had to face. He looks at Oscar.
Oscar: What?
James: There is absolutely nothing to do. The creature hasn't showed up, we can't play our games, there is no type of updates on the news. This is utterly ridiculous!
Oscar: James I know you don't feel the same about this like the rest of us, but have you seen the evidence. You said it yourself, "Or I get some solid evidence tonight." You wanted, here it is.
James: I know it all adds up, but I want to see it. If I don't see that thing, then there is nothing to believe in. Every thing would just an elaborate hoax.
Oscar: I see....
Oscar continues to watch TV, as James goes in the kitchen for food. He brings back some mini chocolate chip muffins that arm bagged. He gave one to Oscar, and the continue to wait.
Now around 5:25, they still haven't heard or seen the monster.
Oscar: It's waiting for us to let our guard down.
James: If that's the case, then that thing is intelligent.
Oscar: Yeah but today, it ain't ever going to touch another soul.
Abruptly, the sound of breaking glasss comes from up stairs. David and Grey wakes up to the noise. Then heavy footsteps ran back and forward a couple of times before stopping at the stairs. It was pitch black up there, and no way in the world they were going to risk it. They sat there quite and patiently for any sudden movement.
A supposed body was thrown down the stairs, and terrifyingly enough, it we had to be one of Grey's parents. James pulls out a pocket knife and cut open the plastic bag. When open, he closes his eyes and pulls the bag off over the face.
James opens his eyes and screams. He then falls backwards, then gets up running to the other side of the room. The rest looks at the body, and grew sicken.
Grey cries out of fear and sorrow, as David tries to comfort him.
The body was actually 1/2 pieces of each parent. They parents chopped in half and sewn together. The father on the right, the mother on the left. Their bodies were all beat up and had stitching every on them. The worst part about this was seeing their last moments of terror frozen on each half face. The smell of the rotting corpse fills the whole house, making it nauseating to be there.
James: Holy Shit!
Oscar: There is no way that thing could have done this!
Climbing down the stairs was the tall stick like creature, eyes glowing. It steps into the light, and stands up as tall as it could. All the friends are trembling with fear wondering what is the best move next.
The creature picks up the body and let's out some dysfunctional chuckle. Blood spills from its lips and holds up the body for them to see.
Creature: (With one of the most disgusting and insane voices) Stitched Up!!!
It laughs again and throws the body to the ground.
Creature: (Same voice while giggling) You're next.
James picks up the shotgun, and pulls Grey out of the way. The creature was trying to fight with its long arms and razor sharp claws. James pulls Grey into the kitchen and sat him under the counter.
James: Grey, you can't fight, your arm needs to heel. And not to mention you're about to have a panic attack. You saw your parents, and I don't want you to get hurt trying to defend yourself.
Grey: My right arm is perfect, plus I will fight for my parents!
James: You have a anxiety disorder and trying to face that thing will result in you having a panic attack. That won't end well.
Grey: You know me too well.
James: That's what we're here for.
James leaves Grey and runs back into to living room. David had took cover behind a fallen shelf. Oscar and was shooting at the creature and dodging everytime it tried to claw him.
James goes over to David.
James: Call the cops!
David takes out his phone and calls the police. He tell they their situation, and what is happening, and where they are. Remembering that's the place they need to be, they told them they'll be over right away to help.
James turns around and Oscar runs out of ammunition. Before he could get the other gun, the creature claws him and he falls to the ground. David and James's hearts sinks when hearing the screams of their friend. They could feel his pain.
James aims the shotgun right for its chest, and shoot. The beast falls to the ground head first and started twitching. James and David ran over to Oscar.
David: Oscar! Can you hear us!?
No response.
James: Oscar!!!
Still no response.
James: Dude, please.....
Grey walks in.
Grey: It's no use in trying. Oscar is dead.
James hugs Oscar's dead body close to him. They were friends longer than any others; They were brothers.
David walk over to the creature and it looked like it was out cold. It still had a breathing pattern and was twitching.
David: That gun shot must have stunned it.
Grey: We won't know for how long unless we wait.
Now it's the early morning and the cops arrives. They were told everytime. The creature was the reason why everyone had disappeared. They took the thing and sent it off to a containment area. David, James, and Grey were escorted away to find a new home. All their belongings would be replaced when finding a new home and they wouldn't have to worry about a thing because they will be under the watchful eye of the government.
Finally, Oscar's body was taken away along with all of the other bodies that the hideous monster had Stitched up together.
