Digital Addiction
Technology addiction is an impulse control disorder that involves the obsessive use of mobile devices, the internet or video games, despite negative consequences to the user of the technology. The disorder may also be referred to as digital addiction or internet addiction. The way we live our lives has been fully modified by phones and digital technologies.

Phones and other portable devices have become so prevalent in every day life that without their phones, many individuals will even say they can't survive.

Dependence on their digital devices is something for most people that they can take care of with a bit willpower and by using technology that has been built to help control digital use.

Now, to connect with friends, watch television, do our banking and even get ahead of work, we use the internet.

When it comes to phones and digital devices, the word ''addicted"get thrown around a lot, but the fact is that reliance on technology is not the same as true addiction. But there's a smaller community of individuals who can't take the same steps.

They derive meaning from their online activities and eventually find that they can not stop their online activities, especially online gaming. These people can not avoid using their computers, no matter how hard they try.

Addiction is no longer just about drugs. There are many forms of addiction and many things that adults and children can become addicted. However technology addiction is become a very real addiction and one that is extremely difficult to break since we still need to use technology on a regular basis.

With drugs or alcohol, it can be easier to avoid since you are not required to be in places where those things are being used. With technology, it can be hard to separate yourself entirely from your vise.

It is important to understand what causes technology addiction, and how you can best prevent it, since breaking the habit can be a long difficult road. Addiction can happen when your body releases a chemical valled dopamine that tells your brain it is experiencing something pleasurable.

Once you experience this, your brain actively seeks out the thing that gave dopamine. When this pull from your brain starts to take over other feelings and emotions, you may be on the path to addiction. People have become even more vulnerable to their addictive existence with the growth of technology and the internet.

We need to avoid digital addiction because there are many long-term effects that are seen more in the physical symptoms such as backache, neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and vision problems from staring at the screen. It can also lead to bangkruptcy, especially if the time spent online is focused on shopping, gambling and gaming. There are also many several emotions and physical effects of digital feelings of depression, anxiety, guilt, dishonesty, social isolation, aggression, and mood swings.

There are tips about how to beat digital addiction for our everyday lives. It is both helpful and quick to apply:
