I promise I'll find you in the next life. Or another dimension where I can be with you. A teardrop fell On her grave. I met her when she was 15. We changed the world with our laughs and giggles. The way we would cuddle watching movies critiquing every little thing in a bad movie.That's before the visit... She was diagnosed with cancer. She was scared.. but I was there. I didn't shy away. It made me love her more. Her imperfections mixed with her perfections simply made the perfect human. Our love matched each other's energy's and when she told me she didn't have that long left. It just made me wanna be there more. Life can be cruel but at least we had the night. Every night she would lay on my chest and freestyle to the beat of my heart. I loved all her songs and remembered half of them to the TEE. Even with her element I felt we were untouchable. Until the day where I woke up and I kissed her forehead and she didn't get up. I screamed her name and jumped up. She didn't respond. A tragic end to our tale. But I wasn't giving up! I tried everything plus C.P.R. she was gone... I woke up again! Looked down and there she was tapping on my chest as her head is on my heart. Bad dream silly goose? You ..have no idea... I love you so much please tell me everything will be ok! What's going on? I lost you again.. the 5th dream.. well I'm here and not going anywhere I kissed her soft lips and said promise...? She said I promise and finished with I love you! It was 2am I settled back down and finally got comfy again. The fear of losing you is too much I couldn't bear to have you gone. She said enough and kissed my forehead. Nothing to worry my dear. 3 years later my dreams became a reality. But now every nap, every dream, every time I sleep. She appears in my dreams. And we have chats. I get to escape from reality and be with my love. I get to tell her i love her and it feels so real every time. She's my guardian angel. Even when she's gone she's here and I feel her energy surrounding me and squeezing me like a warm hug. Even though she's gone I still have her.. but my promise still stands. In the next life I'll find you again. Soulmates that continue to keep making things right. With a little help from cupid. Now I'm just a man humming her freestyles till it's time to dream and when I get to her. I ask her to sing me another freestyle.
