Lady wearing a raincoat
Reena goes out with her friends for dinner. When suddenly it starts to rain very heavily.
The girls are having a great time, till Reena feels that someone is watching them over. She looks around the place and sees that everyone is busy gossiping with their partners or friends. Those sitting alone are working on their laptops. When suddenly her eyes fall upon a lady standing outside the cafe wearing a raincoat and staring at Reena.
She finds it a little odd but decides to ignore and join back chatting with her friends. Not feeling comfortable, she looks again at the glass door and finds the lady as is.
One of her friends asked Reena if she was okay, when she pointed out her finger towards the lady and says, this woman has been staring at me for some time, and I'm feeling strange".
Her friend looked over and said, "Which lady, there is no one outside."
Reena looks back and sees her standing. She doesn't understand what is happening.
She asks her friend again, "Don't you see a lady wearing a raincoat standing outside, and everyone nods their head in no.
Reena is not able to understand why she is visible only to her and not others.
They finish their food and it's time to go back home, the rain stopped. As they move out of the Cafe, her friends move ahead talking and Reena is walking behind , when she looks back, lady turns around staring back at her and gives a scary smile.
The sight of the lady keeps Reena awake all night. She goes back to the cafe the next morning and narrates the incident to the cafe owner.
The owner takes her aside and says, "2 years ago, on a rainy night, a lady wearing a raincoat trying to cross the raod was killed by a speeding truck. Ever since then, her spirit has been wandering here, and there on every rainy night. She is visible to a few and not everyone."He continued." She won't do you any harm. You go home now."
He went away saying this, Reena felt a lump in her throat, she looked at the glass door , got up, and went out of the cafe, promising herself never ever to visit the street again on a rainy night.
