Love Game ~ Part One
~

Hi amazing readers and writers of all kinds! I wanted to try and broaden my horizons when it comes to sharing my writing and figured I would start to compile a story on here.

This is an underground fighter/kickboxing love story about two people who are fighting to win the same competition who fall for each other hard.

I hope you enjoy for those who are interested and stay tuned for more parts of my story!!

{LOVE GAME PART ONE}

Being a two-time champion of a small town is awesome, but when that town is a small town in the middle of nowhere that is notorious for shaping and molding the best streetfighters is even better.

Ethan Tate is a champion of ten years down in Norchester Falls's underground fighting club; Deviant Souls and has been gone for two years. He returns after wanting to get back into the ring after two years, only to find a new champion in his place.

Who will win when there is so much more than a title that hangs in the balance of the game of love?

Prologue

Nina’s POV

The shouts of the crowd were enough to get the blood boiling in my veins, but what really got me fired up, and not in a good way, was when Ethan turned to swipe a flirtatious grin toward the one person he knew would get that reaction out of me.

′Don’t do it...′ I warned in my head, my fists held up high ready to pivot and strike at any moment.

I knew that look, and the more Ethan locked eyes with me I was sure.

Ethan turns around and leans away, placing a kiss on her lips before I could open my lips and actually voice the threat.

Tears sting my eyes and my arms are coming up instinctively, my body wanting to coil itself into a tight ball and launch itself into him. My eyes went completely red as I swing my fist just as Ethan turns back around.

Ethan was too quick for my movements and slaps my hand away, “You gotta be quicker than that.” He wraps a hand around my left wrist and spins me around. And around and around until my back slams into his hard chest and his other hand come around to clamp around my other wrist.

“Do you give?” Ethan hisses at me, his voice dipping low to a husky growl.

“No!” I yell out, ignoring my hearts sudden skip in my chest, and push Ethan away, spinning and almost collapsing on the mat.

′No Nina, focus on the task at hand. He is my competitor, my enemy...We do not belong.′ I warn.

But just as I begin to grapple with my racing heart, Ethan takes a step further by walking up to me, grabbing my chin forcefully, and placing his lips on me before I could object.

One thing about Ethan, he will not take no for an answer.
