A wet leaf fell on her shoulder making her jump in fear. Startled she shifted from her hiding place behind the bush.She had sat there for so long without even realizing.
Home wasn't home anymore.
Everything had changed.
She had lost it all.
It wasn't the first time she had run away from home, but this time was different. She didn't want to go back, she didn't have the courage.Ever since she lost Beverly, her little sister,she couldn't help it.
Maybe if she agree to play with her in the rain that night, Beverly wouldn't have died. All she wanted was make her happy. Everyone seems to be blaming her for Beverly's death,they didn't have to say the words, their actions gave them away.
Another leaf dropped on her shoulder and she shivered.Her tears ran down her face with the rain. She would do anything to bring Beverly back.
