JALBO #2
My mind was blank and all I could see was the dark. No sign of light can be seen in the room. It felt lonely but at the same time comfortable. I sat down letting my back touch the black, smooth wall as I slowly slid down. Why was I here?

For some unknown reason, tears began to fall from my eyes as I looked down sobbing hardly. I don't understand. Where am I? Why was I crying? I wasn't feeling sad, I wasn't feeling any emotions in fact, but here I was. Bawling my eyes out.

"Mitzy."

I looked up hearing a faint and feminine voice call out from somewhere in the darkness.

"Mitzy."

There it was again! I stood up looking around still seeing nothing but darkness. Whose voice was that? Who was this Mitzy? My heart was racing and my head started pounding. I didn't know what was happening but everything around started moving quickly. It felt like the world was rotating and it made me dizzy. I took a step back but as soon as my foot moved, a pair of hands grabbed my shoulders from behind and pulled me down a hole that seemed to ate me alive.

"Hex!" My eyes shot open and I sat up straightforwardly. I was breathing heavily and my heart was still racing. Where am I? What happened?

I looked around and saw a stack of boxes on the corner and a dusty, empty room. "Are you okay?" I looked beside me and saw my Mom with a soft and worried look plastered on her face. It made sense, we just moved in yesterday and I was in my new room. I started to calm down as my breathing returned to normal.

"Why are you here?" My face went blank as I asked her showing no emotions at all. Mom looked a little taken aback and placed a hand on her chest. "Well I was about to wake you up because you're transferring to your new school when I heard you muttering a name. You kept calling this 'Mitzy' then the next thing I knew, you were screaming. I got worried and—"

"Well I'm awake now, aren't I? You can leave my room now." I said pointing at the door. Pain and sadness flashed in her eyes but I couldn't care less. I just stared at her blankly still pointing at the door. Mom looked away nodding before silenly walking out my room. I took a deep breath shaking my head.

I stood up to take a shower when something hanging by my door caught my eye. It was the new uniform hanged up with a plastic covering it to protect it from the dust and dirt. A new school huh? I'm not really interested in finding out about it. Like I said, I took a shower putting on the uniform my Mom must have left by the door and slid on some socks then shoes. I grabbed the same small bag that I used when we got here putting in necessary things like my phone and nothing really, just my phone, before going down.

Mom was in the kitchen cooking breakfast, the scent of pancake batter filled the air. I grabbed an apple from the center of the table and was about to walk out when Mom noticed my presence in the kitchen. "Oh son. Aren't you gonna eat breakfast?" She asked. I didn't look back and raised my hand showing her the apple.

"Oh! Here I made you some lunch—"

"I don't need it." I said still not looking at her. I walked to the living room, grabbing the allowance money Mom placed on the table before walking out the house. "H-have a great da—" I slammed the door close before she could even finish what she was saying. The bus stop wasn't that too far away from our house so walking wasn't hard.

Soon enough a bus stopped and I got in. There was already a lot of people in the bus and some were already standing. What time was it? Well as much as I hate going to school, I didn't want to be late so I got in despite the bus being so crowded. I stopped and stood beside a girl who looked about the same age as me. She was wearing the same school uniform, how could I say it was the same? The school's crest was embedded on the left chest area. She must've noticed me looking at the school's crest and looked at me sharply rotating her body to the other side with a very flushed frowning face.

"Pervert." I hear her mutter under her breath. What did she just say? Pervert? Who? Me? Excuse me! I am not a pervert!

"There was nothing to look at so why accuse me of being a pervert?" I said quietly but loud enough for her to hear. Her eyes widened and her head snapped right to me.

"Excuse me?!" She said and was fuming with anger. I ignored her shaking my head.

"San Ignacio High!"

I fixed my bag as the driver yelled the school name. Well it seems that this is my stop. As soon as the bus door opened, I got down with that girl behind me. Her face was still red with anger and she stomped her way in the school walking ahead of me.

When I set foot in the school, students started looking at me and whispering. What? Never seen a new face? I ignored everyone's stares and looked around trying to find the guidance office. There was map of the whole school by the entrance so it was not that hard to find the office.

"Here. We look forward to learning with you!" The guidance councillor said smiling. I don't really feel the same way so I just bowed at her a little. She gave me my schedule and locker keys. In the midst of scanning my schedule, I bumped onto someone making me drop the locker keys. I bent down to pick it up but by coincidence, the person also bent down to pick it up. Our hands touched then I just noticed how feminine the hand looked. I looked up seeing the same girl in the bus.

"Watch where you're going!" Her face frowned and once again, it started getting flushed in red. She took the keys from the floor and threw it at me before walking away with heavy steps. I caught the keys with my hands and glanced at her retrieving back.

"Crazy." I muttered shaking my head. Just then, the school bell rang loudly signalling that classes were just about to start. Students started running to their classes while I just casually walked down the hallway to my room. I knocked twice on the door and a woman dressed formally opened the door peaking out.

"Can I help you?" She asked. I'm assuming that she's the teacher. I showed her my schedule making her nod. "You must be the transfer right? I'm Ms. Michaella. Come in." She said opening the door wider. I followed her inside and the noisy class started to become quiet.

"Okay class, we have a new student. Please introduce yourself!"

"Christian Hexel Montañano." I introduced very shortly. Ms. Michaella raised both her brows as if she was waiting for me to say more. When she sensed that I was done with my introduction she clapped her hands once catching everyone's attention.

"Okay Mr. Montañano, you can sit beside Mr. Claverio." A guy near the windows raised his hand smiling widely and pointing at the empty seat beside him. I sat down and the boring boring class started.

"Hi! I'm Adriel, you can call me Addy!" My seatmate introduced cheerfully lending out his hand but I only nodded at him taking my seat. After a full 30 minutes or so, I started drifting off to dreamland.

I didn't known how long I was sleeping but when you feel that someone was watching you, you'd feel uncomfortable and wake up right? That's what I did. I opened my eyes to catch a girl looking right at me. She looked surprised and looked away. She looks familiar.

Long brown hair, white skin complexion, black eyes and slim face. She's that girl next door! Who would've thought that we were in the same class.

After hours of a boring discussion, the bell finally rung signalling break. "Hey Christian!" I cringed at the first name basis and frowned looking at the person who called me. It was Addy and he noticed how I was cringing hearing my name making him laugh. "Not used to being called Christian huh? What should I call you then?" He asked.

"Hex." I answered shortly standing up, taking my bag with me.

"Okay Hex. We're going out to grab a bite, wanna come?" He asked smiling. I shook ny head as response and his smile dropped. "Well too bad for you Bud! I don't take no as an answer! We'll wait for you at the gate!" Addy laughed patting my shoulder before going out the room. Whatever. I should go check my locker first.

As I was walking through the hallways, from afar, I heard clanking of metals and muffled voices that seems to be arguing. I peaked a little at the corner and saw 4 girls and a guy circled around one person. What is this? They're bullying someone? Typical school students who doesn't have to anything good to do in school. I shake my head and turned on my heels. I don't want to be involved in any of this so might as well just ignore it.

"Help." A faint and weak voice called, I turned my head a little glancing at the person on the floor. My heart started racing when I realized who that person was. It was that girl next door! She was laying completely on the floor, one hand reaching out towards me and her pleading were looking at me intently. Hex, ignore it! It's their problem not yours! Ah seriously!

"Hey! Stop!" I said sternly leaning on the lockers as the five bullies stopped. One was actually in the midst of kicking her in the stomach when I called them out. "And who are you?" One asked.

"That is none of your business."

"And this isn't yours too! Get lost freak!" The guy said glaring at me. I shake my head walking towards them and pushed them aside. I crouched down placing a hand underneath her back and her thighs, picking her now unconscious body up. They gasp in surprise and glared at me. As if I'll get fazed by their glare. That won't get them anywhere.

"You better watch your back freak!" One of the girls yelled as I walked away carrying the girl next door's body out of the hallways.
