Summer season had just begun,the bright sun was dispersing it's heat and light. I was reading a book in my room,suddenly the light of the sun was eclipsed by dark cloud.The illuminated day now resembled a no moon night.It was darkness all around, I went on to switch on the lights but the lights flickered and went off, leaving me in the same darkness,there was a abrupt flash in my window followed by the thunderstorm and then downpour.
I searched for my phone but unfortunately my phone was dead.I pulled the drawers to look for a torch but couldn't spot it.Somehow I managed to move to the kitchen and after groping for quite sometime I found a candle and a matchstick,as I was about to light the candle I heard a sound which made me anxious,and unconsciously the matchstick and candle slipped from my hand.I was afraid.It was all the result of watching horror films I thought to myself but the sound I heard wasn't imaginary.I pulled a chair and sat but the entire aura petrified me ,the dark,gloomy room,heavy rainfall, thunderstorm.When I was looking around something struck my mind,inspite of the deafening sound of the thunderstorm and rain I heard that unusual sound,how was that possible.I was unable to figure out.
Then after few minutes of chaos,rain stopped and sun was up again and shone bright through the window waking me up from the nightmare of surreal sound.





I realised it was all a dream but still when I reminisce about it, anxiety surrounds me and 'the sound', it gives me chills as I can still hear it in my mind clearly.
