Nathan's P.O.V.
I was busy doing my work as always and frowned coldly looking at the ledger , crumbling the paper in my hands .
"Looks like the right minister has it very comfortable these days."
Just as I was lost in all these headaches , my heart skipped a beat hearing the sound of anklets coming near my office and soft knocks on the door , I spoke in a soft tone.
"Come in."
As the door opened , my little angel walked inside , but my face became cold looking at the frown of worry on her forehead , but not to scare her changed my expression to a softer one.
"How can I help you?"
"I have a favour to ask of you."
She spoke and walked towards my desk standing in front of it , making me smile , this is the first time my angel came to me herself and is asking for a favour.
"Do you have any information about my dad?I asked almost everyone in the palace but couldn't find his whereabouts."
I still had the same smile , I knew she would ask this question but it's not the right time to tell her the truth yet . She is too weak to handle it.
"I don't but I will order the guards to find him."
I spoke acting oblivious and my sweet angel believed me to which I smiled .
"Thank you , your majesty."
She spoke and the anger boiled within me when she called me by my title , I hate it . Only my angel is allowed to call me by my name or nickname.
"It's Nathan for you Julia."
Her eyes darted up , her doe like eyes locking in mine and the sweet fragrance filling the room , how I wished to embrace her right this instant , and a small but evident smile formed on her plump lips.
"Alright , Nathan. And when are you going to tell me about the past?"
"Soon , Julia."
She paused and I know she understood that I don't wish to dig into details and explain to her right now and I sighed then rubbed my forehead.
"Just give me a week , that's all I will ask ."
She nodded to my reply and I smiled looking at her , oh how much I just want to keep her with me forever , cage her in my arms , but she also has her own life , I can't take that away from her.
"I will wait ."
