Dear Heavenly Father,
I’d like to thank You
for always being there for me,
through the good
and the less.

You gave me the freedom
to explore the world,
though You knew
that I would wander off.
You gave me the chance,
to make my own mistakes,
in order to gain knowledge and wisdom
to also correct them.

You might’ve been disappointed many times,
yet patiently awaited the day,
that I would return to your side.
Therefore Your Word indeed is the truth,
which says,
that You will never leave nor forsake me.

Through the Son
You have provided a way
to turn me into a new creation,
filled with transformed thoughts,
to get through the narrow gate,
that leads to life
