Those fifty points
Not so long, after my annuals,I went to the store room. It was a very dark and dry place. Big webs of spiders were there which were so long that they were hanging from my store room's top wall to the bottom were seen and there were only one or two hungry spiders roaming. As I kept the door wide open the other slithery lizards went running out from the top wall from the store room.
I had not played my badminton since a long pass of time so, instead of taking my skates I took my dusty badminton. The clocks were to be taken from nearby chacha's shop because there was no wholesale shop nearby, there I could get 10 cocks at 80 INR but here I took them at 20 INR for each! There was a very bad deal I thought so, but I took that one and went to call my friend ravi.
It was the time of late morning when I had called him, he had told that he would be coming after his breakfast( approx in 20 to 30 mins) but he came directly out at evening about 5:00 pm ( 17:00), he had completed his breakfast now !? I thought,I agreed.
We held our grips and shot many ounces but after playing, feeling bored, we now thought to play 50 points match.
Ravi and I were good players at badminton, No statergies were there which we didn't knew for now. At 5:30 pm, we had started our match(17:30) first four shots by us had a very energetic effect on our silent match. Other small and boys of our age saw our game gracefully and match was continuing swiftly. 10,20,30,40 and 50 fast shots were given but still spirit to win was held in both the players. At 18:30 the results were at the upper hand of ravi where 20 were of ravi and 15 of me. We were so tired that we made to continue the game next day.
Next day, same time, match started. After many shots and some misses and mistakes the end score of both was increased by 5 at the upper hand of ravi for now. We made an inspiration in our minds that the following day, we would be completing this match but nothing was still completed till 4 days and now the points were still with no ranking, both had 45
This was the fifth day of the match, both the players were so much tired that they were expressing unwillingness to play, today there were no viewers and audience to see the match, may be this was the last day of match because now this match had became goal of us for a time being for both of us.
I was played the 20 ounces restlessly , then 30 then 60, but no more changes were seen, only both had now 47 with no ranking. Ravi increased his speed of chasing with shots and simultaneously, I increased mine too. I gave high shrieks in the silent match with throwing of shots when the points were now 49 and about 2 hours were passed the streetlights were started in the empty road. A huge head light was now lit up in the empty ground too where we were playing.
The result which I would be saying was actually not there because after playing restlessly for 2 12 hours there was a no change in points and next day ravi was not on tue play,he went at hospital for food poisoning, he had eaten restaurant food that night and he fell ill then I also changed my mind. Now, this badminton gameplay is forever changed by 'those fifty points' by my friends.
