Pryamid Dreams
I soar across a crimson sky, looking down at the blubbering obsidian. The blistering heat searing my translucent vessel. To my left stands a proud pyramid of marble, joined to its counter part by a bridge of cobble.
I drift down to inspect the bridge, stability of it's structure takes precedence. All is peaceful as the magma rumbles below the cobbles and a fellow hawk joins me, diving through saffron clouds.
A churning in my stomach catches my attention to the cobbled bridge, grinding of stone echoing into the air. I dart to bridge with a panicked flurry. I cannot stop fate from dropping each slab into the pool of lava, I watch them plummet.

One, two... three... four stones gone of the precious bridge that once connected my two pyramids. I watch with a devastation as the rest begin to follow with an increasing haste.

Five... six... seven, eight, nine!

I shoot up and grasp at the fabric of my groovy chic bedsheet. With a clammy forehead and heavy pants, I lay my head back to the pillow. Unknowing that this reoccurring dream will torment me for years to come.
