THE STOLEN BABY!

The cry was faint but I heard loud and clear it as I walked past the dark bushes. My steps faltered. It was late and I wasn’t sure if it was a smart thing to stop and inspect the source but my mind was made up to check where the cry was coming from, so I looked very closely. Lo and behold, it was a baby 👼 wrapped perfectly inside a basket.
Who could have done this?? Still shocked 😲 what should I do now? It's late already and I can't take this baby home. What will I tell my parents? Who will ever believe that I didn't stole this baby? Still trying to fix this puzzle because Iam in a state of dilemma. I said to myself that it will be very heartless of me to keep this baby here.
Luckily, I had my phone with me and call Emergency number and they respond so quickly and I waited so patiently for them to arrive and they got there and pick up the baby and they told me to answer some question and I did. And they're very grateful that I found the baby and on time too because the baby was kidnapped and the police are looking for the baby. I was glad to rescue the baby. But the question lies who could have kidnap the baby?? EVEN IN THE MIST OF THE STORM BE HONEST!
