Chapter 1
Case solver


I sat there, on my food and drink stained sofa-chair, my pipe in my
mouth. I was reading the NewsPaper "NewsIsMostImportant".
Until, Bang! Three kids, (Mark, Jerry and Dean Blacksmith) that were playing with snow outside had thrown a Snowball through my window.
"Oi!" I yelled furiously, my pipe slipped between my lips. I pointed my (Webley-green) vintage revolver at the three adolescents. They instantly pelted towards their home. The next day, I received a letter from them. I was about to start reading when the door slammed open. William Scott; my case-solving partner, strode into the room.
"Halao!" I greeted him heartily as I set my pipe alight. In reply, he waved his hand and went upstairs . I returned my attention to the note sent to me and read aloud:

"? Blacksmith, he threw the Snowball."

I thought for a minute and my deduction was that it was Mark.


"Question Mark Blacksmith. " I concluded, smirking.
