Death lies behind/ Chapter 5- A fight and a run
Dana and Kenny saw a lantern hanging on a trunk on a distance. They went towards the direction when Kenny was stabbed by someone with a small knife.
Dana tried to run but she bumped to Ivy. Ivy came for Dana but Kenny stopped her motioning Dana to escape.
Dana began running as Ivy slaughtered Kenny's neck but Barry stepped in front of Dana.
Dana had no place to run. Both Barry and Ivy came for her when Barry stammered and rose into the sky. Blood started flowing out of his stomach and mouth.
It was Matthew who stabbed Barry with his machete and rose him up into the sky.
He told her to run as he released Barry who died down on the hilly area.
Dana started running and soon reached a small hut on the distance which was burnt. It was probably the hut where Barry, Ivy and George burnt the three (read the last chapters to learn about the story).
Dana saw their guide Hansel near the hut. Hansel told Dana that he learnt everything and he said her that Matthew could only solve this out.
Ivy came running but Hansel took out his pistol and shot Ivy at her head.
Ivy died down on the ground.
Hansel took Dana towards the village but another gun shot came and killed Hansel.
The one who killed Hansel was George who was shocked with the death of his two friends.
He fired five bullets at Dana which luckily missed and he ran out of bullets.
He chased Dana until Dana lost George far behind.
She felt relieved that she survived the hardest 5 minutes of her life.
She started sprinting towards the village through an another way but she accidentally fell down a middle sized waterfall and went unconscious.
When she woke up, she saw herself in the mansion where she was at the beginning of all of this, and she was sleeping on a chair.
The whole mansion was lit up. Suddenly she saw another illusion which showed all everything that happened during the 1860s (I better don't write what happened in the illusion because I have to keep it in suspension for the rest of the seasons).
When the illusion ended, her head started hurting and when it also ended, she saw herself on the same chair, on the same room and it was lit with the same lights.
The things that changed were the dead bodies of Barry, Ivy and George tied to chairs by Matthew.
Lina was tied up too but she was alive.
Matthew told Dana that whatever she saw in the illusion was all true and now she had to kill Lina.
Dana was blinded by the things that happened in the worst night of her life and she set fire to Lina when she even tried to tell her that nothing was true.
Dana tried not to hear the last screams of Lina as she burned alive...
To be continued...
(Tomorrow I will write the last chapter. Don't be absent.
