The Cursed Friends Chapter 26
Get the holy water?
(Josef's P.O.V)
Well, Lilian's fucked up any of her chances of even becoming close with any of them. Lilian was wiping her tears away as we walked, I looked ahead to Dandelion and saw tears streaming down her face like a river, she was trying to avoid looking at Lilian while Arline stared daggers at her when he wasn't comforting Dandelion.
"Reason?" I asked bluntly, Lilian didn't respond, just stopped and stared in front of us.
"You see that?" She stuttered, still looking in front of us. I followed her line of vision but saw nothing.
"Lilian is this another mind trick" I said angrily, I was getting tired of her 'seeing things'. She only looked ahead as if she was in a trance, and then out of nowhere she just fainted. She fell with a soft thump, I stared at her for a moment and then got thrown into a fit of panic. Arline and Dandelion turned around and just stared at Lilian's unconscious body laying on the ground.
"Are you going to help or not!?!" I yelled at them sure she did kill Dandelion but if she really meant it she wouldn't have been weeping. I know. They both stared before Dandelion ran up to me and sat down beside me, her fingers grazed Lilian's throat as she checked for pulse. Dandelion's face turned pale as she shook her head. Lilian wasn't breathing.

I slowly opened my eyes to be met with a green lush forest. Definitely not the forest we were in, it was bright and friendly looking, not dark and ominous. Two kids went running by, one was about fourteen and the other was five. I recognized one of the kids as my brother Alex and the other was me. I watched as they ran and laughed together, this was like nothing I remember Alex doing with me. He always stayed as far away from me as possible but here he was playing with me. I tried to remember these events but I couldn't seem to remember, then my vision went blurry and as soon as my vision was back we were in a forest that was completely different than the first one. It was dark and unfriendly, not a place for a five year old. I could hear crying and as I turned around I saw little me holding her hand over her neck, balling her eyes out, and there was Alex comforting me. I couldn't even imagine him comforting me of all people, then a little whimper was heard.
"My nec-necklace i-it took my necklace" The little girl cried still clutching where the necklace used to be. I remembered this part but just couldn't remember why Alex was there. He wasn't there for it, I was by myself not with him. He pulled me into a hug and patted my head soothingly.
"We'll get it back, I promise" he whispered
"Promise on what?" I replied in a hushed voice. He looked at the girl with a smile.
"I promise on my life" he whispered and with that the little person smiled widely like he was the world to her. He then picked her up in his arms and began walking back to where they came.

Lilian woke up with a start.
"Lilian, I thought you were dead!" I shouted as I pulled her in for a hug. She seemed disoriented but hugged me back nevertheless, Arline let out a short sigh of relief or annoyance and then stood up. Dandelion followed suit, the hint of worry in her eye disappeared.
"We should continue if we want to be back before the snow falls," Arline stated before walking off with Dandelion. I helped Lilian up and followed them.
"You ok?" I asked, walking slowly beside her.
"The cave" she muttered under her breath. Cave? The cave we're going to? Many questions popped in my head but her last statement made more jump right out.
"My necklace"
"What necklace?" I asked
"What does your necklace need to do with the cave?" I was now getting worried. Did she fall that hard?
"The closer we get to the cave the more I'll remember" She said, her eyes were now widened as if she made an amazing discovery. She then turned to the side and grabbed my arm walking to the left.
"Guys this way!" She yelled back at Dandelion and Arline, they looked at us with a confused look before following.
"We're only following because you're dragging Josef into this" Dandelion sighed. Lilian only let out a quiet laugh before continuing on her way. Lilian had a look in her eyes that I've only seen once. A look of hope and freedom. I sighed and a small smile plastered on my face. Either Lilian knows what she's doing or we all need holy water to cleanse the demon or ghost out of her.
