Girl On The Edge
True Incident..
My fav vacation spot is my home town bcos I always lived away from my home for studies and work.We use to live in a United family and that is a proud thing.
now let's talk about the story, actually it's is not a story it's an incident that happened with me in year 2009,
I was on summer vacations at my village,we used to live in our ancestors house but construction of our New house was also going on at the End of the village .My best friend at my village was my German Shepherd dog*Jessu*,he was just 2 years old at that time.Now he is dead.
We both along with my uncle used to sleep at newly constructing house in night for gaurding purpose.In summers ,villagers use to sleep in open area like terrace.
I still remember very clearly,it was a bright night,I woke up by the loud barking noise of Jessu,it was arroud 3 pm,My uncle was drunked and having a good sleep, barking of Jessu didn't bothered him at all.
I got up and tried to silent Jessu but he was continuesly barking louder by looking at one side of terrace, initially I ignored his intentions and was just trying to make him silent but after few minutes I realized that Jessu is scared of something,Now I heard some strange voice of metals coming from inside of the house,I was little scared now,I came near to Jessu and tried to find out the thing,then what I saw it gave me nearly a heart attack,It was a Girl standing on the Edge of the terrace,wtf,...she was damn scary,..bcos of bright night I could she her from a distance,dirty white color dress,messy hairs, no footwear's,dark face and slim body...I was so terrified and scared,Jessu was still shouting like hell....I directly went up to my uncle,he was in deep sleep and it took me 2 mins to make him aware about the situation...now we both came near to the edge and tried to find her out but She was gone, Vanished like a smoke..Jessu was also silent now..My uncle didn't said anything and just asked me to go to
sleep,,and he went too...I was still shocked about what I just saw...who was she?,I was not dreaming, everything I saw was damn real..but where she went now...and who was she....what if she came back..I spend rest of night sleepless and hoped for a early sunrise.In morning my uncle went early for his work in farms and I ran as quick as I could to my family house,...I tried my best to convince my family members about the incident but as you all know such kind of things are hard to believe,no body took me seriously.,my brothers made fun of me, my parents said that I had hallucinations but I knew very well what I saw in night...and that was damn real...As I mentioned earlier that we lived in a united family,I got a chance to sit in the group of ladies of my home,,my All aunties were there,I described everything that I saw....then my elder aunt spoke about something which was very much similar to the last night incident, actually in past days when I was in hostel my elder aunt and her husband used to sleep in new house,she said,,..she also experienced such kind of things 2 times there in new house,A boy and A girl,aged arroud 8-12 years,,she saw boy walking around her bed(khaat in Hindi),... heard the sound of metals,,..she informed my uncle too but my uncle used to drink a lot in night so never took her seriously.After my aunt's acceptance,Now other family members started believing,after few days of talks and research,one old men spoke of a very tragic and unfortunate event,....Before new construction there was a old house,,.and a family was living in there,A girl and boy with their parents,girl was elder arroud 13 yeard... Regular electricity was not available in village at that time, oil lamp were used for lighting.According to old men,one night the girl was carrying the lamp and it fall on the boy accidentally,due to lot of oil in the lamp ,boy catches the fire quickly and burnt alive...due to lack of transportation the boy died on the way to the hospital.The villagers blamed girl for her brothers death...she was very depressed and claimed sucide by jumping from the Edge of the terrace.this was horrible and unfortunate.Now we all knew about them but we couldn't do anything about it and they both were seen several times till the day of inauguration (hawan)of the new house.The boy used to seen inside the house and Girl on the Edge.
