Scappatella [ Chapter 2 ]
SAMUEL began to suck and blew the smoke as if he had summed up the darkness of his past within the ashes that was trivializing by the cinder of his cigar. It was tasteless and suffocating. His life was rubbish and winded. He had seen and suffered everything in his eyes: death, sorrow, and disloyalty.
The grey ashes fell down from the window sill to where street lamps, lightning the night. From where he was sitting in a folded knees of the highest floor of the club, people were bustling down the entrance of Emperor's Club.
He had the same evening from the past ten years: mistily caliginous: filled with brume smoke, whiskey, fire place and a dim light of the room.
The formidable steps pulled him out of his pernicious recollection. " A good news! Samuel. Tonight is the night!" Maximus darkly perked up, reeling toward the mission board and pinned the three pictures in a diagram form as if he had discovered an artifact.
"Audrey Aquiliana Heliose Wellington. The only way to the young King and the Chief Minister." Maximus began with a deep-vengeful voice.
Samuel felt his muscles tense.
It nearly rendered him speechless.
He was mutedly grateful for he able to formulate a prudent respond, " How?"
His superior should not know.
“ If I should have known this earlier! The Chief Minister and the former King had a bethoral agreement many years ago. They've had decided to unite their families to tighten their friendship and to maintain the inheritance and loyalty of the rulers of this country. It’s about time to take action for many years we were been yearning."
He was relocating from one side to another side. He could not contain the ardors of their retaliation.
" Bethoral? How can you be so sure that it’s a bethoral? The bullshit King had passed by. It would be invalid." He masked his arising concern with his monotone and plegmatic visage.
“ They signed a contract to secure the agreement. Its in the legal document, Luciano, Eventhough the King died, the betrothal remained sealed as it was agreed by the two families." He stagnated, only to braced an arm to the both edges of the sleek table, and bending his shoulders in a manner of plausible persuasion.
" The wedding will be coming sooner. It was been well-planned. It only means she will the new crown Queen." He smiled, savagely, couldn't be distinguish when looking afar, for his massive ginger beard with two braided pigtails was veiling half of his face.
" To make it more worst, your forgotten friend will have his happy ending." He envisoned. " This is like hooking two big fish at one in a time, Luciano."
" Cazzo.." He seethed, fastidiously to cover up his convulsive agony.
" If you will get the chance to enter the Wellington's Residence, it will be in your hands to manipulate them and control everything. Audrey Aquiliana Heliose Valerius Wellington, the very talented lady and the daughter of the reknown fashion designer and business woman Sylvia Francesca Wellington-"
