As this month (May) is marked as a MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS month, I am trying to make people aware of this disease OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), through a story.
This is a story of a boy named Sumit. A highly Intellectual, Hardworking and Multi-talented kid. National Champion in Skating, Swimming, Chess, Author of 4 Published Novels while still in school, Research Enthusiast (working on several projects independently as well as University guidance).
Sumit used to stay with his mother. He was in tenth grade when the story starts. Before appearing for the Board exams, he had Preparatory leave. He used to spend minutes, which amounted to hours in the wash-basin washing his hands and hours in the bathroom taking bath. Things went to the extent that skin was coming out of his hand.
