When we think back on our first experiences, we recall how they were not what we expected and did not provide us with the satisfaction we desired. Write a tale to go along with it.
Sometimes in life, some things that you crave are generally not as satisfying as you dreamt, as you thought could ever be. The same was something similar I felt about my first date.
yes, my life's first date.
I was in class 10th and was just waiting for my result. As a teenager u tend to have a crush on senior guys so did I with the same mentality was having a huge crush on one of my school seniors who were in class 12th. Since I have known him from the time he was a House Captain and I used to adore him whenever he used to come to classes during some competitions and tournaments. I started noticing that he also gives me the same attention as I do. His friends used to tease him whenever I used to cross him. But then it was our Board Exams he gave his 12th board and I gave mine. My friends were also aware that some kind of such thing is happening but as I was quite young and Amature I did not know how to deal with it. Well, well well.. somehow our mutual friends shared our number and then the phone call thing started happening. I did not know if I have an actual liking or if it was just a crush. We planned to meet. We both had to go to our friend's house which was 20 km away from our residents. He asked me to come midway from where he will pick me up and then we both will go to the same location together. During those days we were not that lucky to have a personal vehicle. So I took an auto till the midway and he got his Father's bike which he promised will be back by evening. There was no personal mobile those days so the timing was an issue for both of us. However, the time of 1100hrs was passed last night but then it was already 1115 that I was waiting for him. I called him from an STD booth to check if he left. His father picked up the call, And I just spoke like a random caller. I understood he must have left by now. So he came on his bike. He apologised as he was a bit late. Well, like nowadays Youngsters go on dates while wearing something very sexy or in such areas where they have a comfortable environment. It was not so in our case. Since we both were coming from our home It was simple jeans and T-shirts. I was still fine but then my crush just went off when I saw his Chappal. He was wearing one. He used to look smart in school uniform but what did he do with his attire that day, I had no clue. He asked me to sit behind him. I sat and as he started his bike then he was putting up the brakes, due to which I had to hold his waist. It was still okay but then since it was mid afternoon and Sun was rising high. We both thought to wait and drink some juice. He told me that there is some waterfall nearby we can take the juice and can go there for a while. I was okay with that, we bought some and went there, it was in some shady place where we could not see anyone. I was a bit nervous as to where will he be taking me. I was already turned off as I was not happy with the way he was carrying himself and adding on to it he was sweating tremendously and was giving a foul smell. He was trying to sit next to me while we were near the waterfall but I was just not happy. He was washing his chappal in that waterfall as well.. 😒 My entire date went on six and I was thinking if this is the one guy I had a crush from the past 8 months. We spoke something but my entire focus was on his chappal. Then suddenly he told me that he wants to kiss me. I am a 90s Kid and for me, a Kiss was a huge thing then, I was surprised, I asked him if he wants to give me on my cheeks. But then he said no no not on cheeks it is to be given on lips. 😑 I was not prepared for it and after such an introduction I was completely off. I said sorry but I do not feel good here can we go out, it is not the right time. I managed to change his mind and we left. Then While I was on his bike sitting was planning how to run away and then I told him that one relative has seen us and we need to go from there. Then he dropped me back at my location. However, it was a very awful date I could ever imagine in my life but then it was my first and last date with him. And I realised it was just my crush and there was nothing more to this teenage life.
Well he is married now 🤭 and maybe he remembers it or whatever.. but this first experience was something i cannot forget ever..
