If someone would have told me two years down the line that I'll be sitting in a 3 star restaurant waiting for my blind date. I would have laughed on their face.

Guess what. Here I am all dressed up like a doll wearing my favourite black knee length dress paired with golden heels. Trying my best to act elegant while waiting for my so called blind date.

I never understood the concept of blind date. It's more like an arrange marriage, wherein two people who never knew the other existed are set up to meet (forced to meet in my condition), get to know each other and then if you don't want to take it furture say Sayonara !

"where is he ?" I muttered under my breath.

Everyone who knows me will never get late for our meet ups because they know this gets on my nerves. The guy isn't here and he has already started to get on my nerves. Negative score for making the significant other wait. I am going to kill my best friend for dragging me into this blind date bullshit. I huffed and looked around.

I continued looking at my watch every once in a while, sipping my passionfruit juice.

Suddenly I felt a figure moving towards the table on looking up I found myself staring at a pair of grey eyes. I felt a sensation within me as if someone is captivating me within their hold. Damn ! Never knew I had a fascination for grey eyes. The grey eyed stranger sat on the table opposite me

"Hey "

My eyes snapped to his face and can I add that he is handsome.

"My name is Siddhant. Sorry for being late. I kinda got stuck with some work." He rubbed his neck.

"That's fine. I am Aaliyah." I replied with a small smile.

"I know" He said.

I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

"I mean. My friend told me about you beforehand. The one who has set us up for this blind date." He said with a smile.

"Okay. "

We placed our order, both of us ordering pasta dishes. I could feel him staring at me the whole time.
The momemt I looked up my eyes locked with his and the feeling was back.

"Let's start." He said.

My eyebrows curved in confusion. Start what ?

"Am Sorry ?"

Without replying to me he looked around and then continued staring at me with a smirk on his face. He brought his fingers in front of me and snapped his finger.

I felt a sudden jerk within me. I looked up at him to find him sitting comfortably with a huge smirk on his face.

I tried moving but wasn't able to move a single muscle of my body.
What is happening ? Why am I unable to move or speak.

Then something happend that brought goosebumps all over my body.

"Darling" I heard his deep voice.

I looked at him, he didn't speak anything then how am I hearing his voice. I tried moving again and failed to do so. Am I paralysed ?

"No darling, you're not paralysed." Again his voice.

That's when it hit me that he can hear my inner thoughts. This made me panic more.

"Relax" He laughed out.

I tried looking at the people around me. They seemed normal then what is happening with me ? Can't they see what he is doing to me right now ?

"Nothing is happening to you sweetheart. I've captured your conscious mind that's it. Interesting isn't it. " He shrugged.

"Get out of my head right now." I screamed.

This only made his smile go wide.

"Now .. where is the fun in that. " He asked.

This man is a psycho.

"Please... leave me alone." I pleased.

"Do you think it's that easy. I've admired you for so long from afar. Now it's time for you to come with to my world. let's be together. I came to get you. You don't have to suffer in this human world. I promise you a better life in our new world. I'll treat you like a queen." He finished.

If I wasn't frozen right now, my eyes would have gone wide.
What is he talking about ? Admired me ? New world ? Queen ?
I wanted to cry out loud.

"Please...please.. leave me." I begged in my head.

"Yes time to leave this world."

"No.. nooo.. please don't do this to me. I beg you to leave me alone.." I cried.


"Say goodbye to this world." He snapped his finger.

I jerked up and looked around to find myself on bed. Sweat covering my forehead and tears running down my cheeks. I put my head in between my hands and took deep breaths to calm myself.
'It was just a nightmare. ' I repeated it under my breath.
I got up and took a hot shower hoping this would calm my nerves.

As I got out of the shower my phone pinged indicating a message. I checked my phone to find a message from my bestfriend.

'Hey ! Good news !! Get your lazy ass up. I've found a blind date for you. It's tonight. I'll send you the details soon. ' It read.

The phone fell from my hand.
