# IN THE OLD DAYS
Characters-Sam,Nina,Sam's grandfather
Year-2030
Sam and nina were best friends and classmates.
One day Sam's father gifted him a book named 'Old days' on his birthday ,although sam was science student and he did not like history type book so he kept this book on his table.One day he was studying on his table and suddenly he closely looked at book cover page he saw two children was making a boat with paper .Sam was living in modern world of 2030 when technology was on peak level everything was depend upon technology so Sam never saw the life of old era.after looking at pictures on book Sam was curious about the old life and he started to open book pages one by one he saw more pictures of old days like farmers were ploughing fields ,women were carry water on utensils.Sam had now many questions how old days peoples did live without any technology ? Did people face problems in old days without technology?Sam then went to Nina's house and told her everything he saw in book.Nina was also curious about this as she did not also know about old days.Sam and Nina then went to Sam's grandfather and saw him this book and questions them about life of old days.
Sam-Grandpa will you please tell us the life of old days people?
Grandpa-Son,there was a time when we lived in a cottage we have no technology then everything was depend upon human not technology.peoples used to woke up early in the morning and then they went to ploughing field and grow different types of crops.
Sam-Grandpa ,did peoples not depend on markets?
Grandpa-No son there was no market at that time everyone ate their own crops.
Nina-Grandpa ,how did they spent their free time without smatphones?
Grandpa-In free time,they either play some games like kabaddi,wrestling,gilli-danda,pitthu.
Nina-I only heard about kabaddi and wrestling what is gilli-danda,pitthu?
Grandpa-gilli danda is played with a stick and a cylindrical type of wooden called gilli and in pitthu one throw a ball (made with old cloths) towards seven stones tower.
Sam-Will you please teach us this games later?
Grandpa-Sure,why not?
Nina-Plz tell us more about old days
Grandpa-Old days people was more stronger and healthy than today generation beacuse they did physical work a lot also environment was so clean and pure.Nowdays there is pollution everywhere ,bad air condition .
Nina-That means old day was good?
Grandpa-it was good in some cases but there was no technology and if one got ill he had to walk miles for medicine and there was poor education system ,school was too far,only thing to contact people was letter as there was no phones in our days.So i am not saying modern world is worst it is level up than older days.
Sam -Thanks grandpa for details.
