I was in a horrific car accident back in 1997
I was thrown from the car 65 feet. I was in acoma for a month. I underwent 12 operations in 4 and a half months.
The doctor said I'd never write again.
Thank Jesus that the doctor was wrong. I thank him everyday.
I love to write. I have written 105 poems in 5 days.
I just hope that what I write touches someone's heart.
To me that's all that matters
Leave the fame to another
If wishes were true
That would be my wish for each night
One day to pass the torch to another writer that writes the same as me.
Then my soul could truly be free
