The above is a pastel and pencil drawing by me of a typical monsoon scene in the Indian sub-continent . Sunlight filtering through multicoloured clouds both before and after a heavy shower , the washed ,deeply freshenig greenery of the tangled creepers and splayed ficus trees ,an animal suddenly ambling into the undergrowth not far from you - all these create deep and strange longings in the soul ,longings which have to be understood . No wonder ,the monsoons ,as the precipitation brought about by the South-West Trade Winds in late summer are called ,are a favourite time for most Indians, and poets, dreamers ,lovers and philosophers have penned or sung uncountable songs over the ages about this season and its myriad sights. Your longings meet my heartful designs which I collected for many years and imprinted on every item of household use as well as clothes ,in my designed store ,a place of love : cafepress.com/giftsgivinglove .
