SANCTUARY OF THE SOUL by Bhengu SS
In twilight's hush, where candles sway,
A sacred refuge beckons, come what may.
Tears fall like autumn's gentle rain,
Leaving no stain, only heartache's refrain.
With soul laid bare, I confess my past,
Unshackle the weights that forever last.
Every sorrow, every grief, every fear,
Every secret, every doubt, every tear.
At the altar of mercy, I lay my load,
And find solace in the silence bestowed.
In pews of penance, where hearts are made new,
I find peace, and grace, forever shining through.
