There's a story about two philosophers, who walking into a tremendously beautiful garden.
One of them is smiling, the other one is sad.
The smiling one asks his friend, “how can you be so sad when it's so wonderful to be around here?”
The sad one replies, “I can't stop thinking that all this beauty will pass one day. The colours, the trees, the butterflies, all of it will decay.”
When you love someone, it's like everything seems even more beautiful and vibrant. But somehow you know deep down it's all a temporary thing.
