A lot has changed since we were kids... and I am not talking about infrastructure or streams of education or availability of things...
I am talking about how we have changed... How much we have gained.... and lost a a society!
While we have gained materially, we have lost emotionally, spiritually... And that is a loss bigger, far greater, than the gains - as I see it.
After all, when we can't even send our kids out to play in the garden close by for fear that someone will harm them... Then, tell me, have we gained?
When we can't enjoy with friends, as we say in Hindi... Dil khol ke..., without thinking about political correctness, about who could take it in a way that would hurt, about which part of what we say will be used against us, by who....Then is it worth it?
How has this happened? What caused it? Are we guilty of creating this change?
Let us think, discuss (among yourselves, if not on this platform, if you don't wish to discuss on a Public platform) and see whether we can bring back some of that 'innocence' which we have lost.
