THE HUNTER'S MARK BY BHENGU SS
Victim of the hunter's chase,
Caught between the teeth of the race,
Survival may have been won,
But bruises, scars, wounds - I carry on.
The beast, the teeth, the predator's eye,
Forever etched in memory,
Its marks, my body, a story to tell,
Of a creature, a battle, a place in hell.
No longer a victim of the hunter's game,
My spirit, my resilience, eternally the same,
A survivor, a fighter, a soul to be reckoned,
No longer the prey, but a force, unfettered,
I rise from the ashes, the scars a reminder,
That courage, strength, a will can't be hindered.
For in the end, it's not the hunter I fear,
But the lessons, the triumph, of my own spirit dear.
Victorious, I stand, a story to share,
A hunter's victim no more, for my soul is now bare.
