The tree does not weep when the leaves fall, for it knows they must return to the soil. it’s not bad, after all, to let the wind carry what was never meant to stay. and yet, even when the branches stand bare, they remember the touch of every breeze that passed through them. perhaps, the greatest kindness is letting go, knowing that both the tree and the wind will find their way stronger, untangled, free.
