In shadows deep, my heart does weep,
for my love, lost in dreams so steep.
her absence, a void, a silent scream,
in distant lands, where shadows teem.
a cyst's cruel grip, a silent foe,
robbing her smile, casting shadows low.
across the miles, my tears they flow,
as time stands still, in this wretched woe.
on this good friday, my thoughts do stray,
to her, my love, so far away.
may angels guard her, guide her way,
and bring her back, where she'll forever stay.
though darkness falls, and fears surround,
in faith i stand, on sacred ground.
with hope ablaze, her light i've found,
praying for her healing sound.
so here i wait, in sorrow's thrall,
longing for her, to hejar her call.
until the day, when shadows fall,
and once again, she'll grace my soul.
