Freedom is what we still crave for,
Freedom is what we still need to be aware off,
After so many long years of independence ,we are still not free.
Previously people fought to gain independence from British rule,
And now,we are fighting to get freedom from the society's mentality,their discrimination,their own made up rules and regulations,their way of thinking.

We will be independent then only,
When there will no discrimination between a girl and a boy,
When there will be equality among different genders,
When a girl child will be wanted and accepted equally like a boy child and there will be no killing of a girl child at birth,
When girls will be safe and they can easily walk out on roads freely without fear even at nights,
When there will be no restrictions for a girl to be a girl,when girls are appreciated like the boys are,
When girls will be looked up with respect,when the crime against girls will stop...

When the society and the people will start changing themselves positively,then we will have freedom in the real sense.

We are not free,
We are yet to be free,
We want independence,we want freedom.
