Seven days a week
I have been on this ongoing streak
Monday, I survived the hustle and bustle
Tuesday was a bit more subtle
Wednesday, I was in a hurry and got lost in the shuffle
Thursday, yes, I'm getting nearer to the weekend, which I can't bear
Friday has arrived; what a big surprise!
Finally, its the weekend; Saturday is a day filled with so much cheer
Sunday snuck in for a turn; now it's time to unwind
While I wine and dine
Now that I have all this time
But to my disbelief, the weekend has ended, and I'm back to where it all descended
