Her
As I watch her move,
Across that crowded room,
I can't help but ask myself,
What really went wrong?

She still wears the most beautiful smile,
Her eyes as deep as the ocean,
Her voice is as enchanting as ever,
And her laugh is still intoxicating in my ear

It's been ten years since I saw her,
Nothing changes even just a tip of her hair.
Her smell can reach me in miles away,
It makes me numb and tremble in fear.

I've lost this woman due to my immaturity.
And now I lost my way to her.
I didn't notice my feet moving,
She's like a gravity pulling me towards her.

I flashed a smile as I approach her,
She looked at me in sincerity,
Oh how I love that stare,
It melts me million times over and over.

She said "hello" in her angelic voice,
Her dimples dancing with just a simple move,
I couldn't stop myself from staring,
This woman is still mesmerizing.

I managed to return her sweet greeting,
Unknowingly I am nervously sweating,
This is not the state I prepared before this gathering,
How come my body is not cooperating?

She asked me how am I doing,
I told her I am doing great though I am still grieving,
Those ten years were like a sentence,
And I am paying the price for the mistake that I have committed.

She said she's happy to see me,
She didn't know it is killing me,
Because behind her beautiful figure,
Is a man that I have never seen before.

Probably she noticed my uneasiness,
She grabbed the hand of that man behind her,
And then she spoke softly,
" This is husband, Andie".

Although she spoke the lightest,
To me it was like a bomb exploding to my face,
My world collapses before me,
As I nod to the man who stole her from me.
