What If
We live in one world, we share the same ground, we see the same sky turn to sunrise into sunset, we breath in life and breath it out. We ask where the road leads and stop midway, we both cry when our love lies, we both have questions that cannot be answered. What if, what if I told you that my vision of mind has no particular recognition of you, my sound of hearing has no particular memories of your footsteps. What if I told you, the world would leak if your existence was none. What if I told you, life would question itself if meaning you did not give. What if I told you, the sun would hide itself behind the moon if your face it cold not see.
What if I told you, the seasons would cease to appear if your smiling heart they could not see to hear. What if I told you, time would stop its tickle if your footprints it could not read. What if I told you, the breeze would freeze itself if your lungs it could not feed. What if I told you, the world is better than it appears. What if I told you, love is better than ignorance. What if I told you, the lies you hear from your ears don’t believe in themselves.
What if I told you, battling with the unforgivable hurts much more than crowning victory to forgiveness. What if I told you, history could not write itself if your story it could not tell. What if I told you, the possibilities are possible. What if I told you, life is worth the other chance it begs for. What if I told you, you are seen when faded. What if I told you, I know who you are. What if I revealed myself, what if I told you the truth. What if I spoke the words I hide inside. What if I asked you, what if? Would you believe me, oh my soul?
