April Fool, the day of jest,
When pranks are played with gleeful zest.
A time when laughter fills the air,
And mischief is found everywhere.

The jester's hat is donned with glee,
As he plots his next trick, you see.
He'll pull a prank, and then he'll grin,
And watch as all around him spin.

Perhaps he'll send a fake email,
Or hide a friend's phone in the mail.
He'll fill a sugar jar with salt,
And wait to see the victim's fault.

The day is filled with funny jokes,
And silly pranks that everyone evokes.
And as the evening draws to a close,
The laughter fades, and humor goes.

But April Fool is not all tricks,
It's also a day to break some fix.
To let go of worries and distress,
And embrace the joy and happiness.

So let us all enjoy this day,
And laugh and smile in every way.
For April Fool is just one day,
But joy and laughter can stay.
