I feel the heaviness in her heart
every time she takes a step back.
I see the sadness in her eyes
while waiting for you to turn around.

Why did you make her feel
that your love was real?
When you just treated her like a bee
In your butterfly sanctuary?

Now she carries the weight of her heart.
And tears coming out from every scar.
The smile she used to have
Is nowhere to be seen, even in the graveyard.

So, I hope she finds what was lost
A soul held captive by your foolish thoughts.
An angel who put down her halo
Just to be broken by a man after all.
