We do gather
Not in the upper room
But under one roof
Eating, laughing and gisting together.

Christmas like this...
Was always special
With Uncles and Aunties around
Bringing everyone together
Like we were never apart.

Christmas like this...
Was like no other
As we treated each other like brothers and sisters
With no bias judgement of which belongs to who
All under our grandma's roof.

Christmas is here...
No brother or sister to share
And cast away all our fears
Everyone now know which is theirs.

Christmas is here...
Grandma is dead
We now act like we don't care
And cherish the memories we once shared.

Christmas is here
And how I wish everyone is here
To celebrate together once again this special season of the year
But like strangers we now wish each other...
