We spent our childhood with our family,
Laughing, crying, loving unconditionally.
Cherishing each other through every rise and fall,
Creating memories that will last through it all.
Alas! For some of us life brings a trial,
And connecting and caring becomes an elusive mile.
Misunderstandings, arguments and childhood trauma huge,
Drag us further apart, with no soothing refuge.
But Apologizing, forgiving, clarifying the misunderstanding,
Is always worth it for healing, progressing.
Cause no one can give you the love they do,
Protective, supportive, tender and true.
