Burning traveller
#WritcoPoemPrompt22
He drops on the sandy folds,
Of a deathly bed,
A lost traveler of a mighty desert,
Parched throat, cracked skin,
He is his own Messiah,
Or another vagabond victim?

Traveling onwards and beyond,
the known and the unknown,
Embracing simles and tears,
He advances on a lonely plane.

Uncared, unnoticed, unwanted,
He knows his worth.
Burning like a candle, spreading love instead of light.
He's on this journey,
not going out without a fight!

Picking himself up only to fall again,
He pushes on until pain is no pain.
This lonely traveler, travels alone.

Snuffed off like a candle
He hits the floor again
only to rest for a while
and pick himself up again!
