I stay away or duck and dive it's obvious I avoid you
Nothing personal but there's a reason why noone is outside
If you get too close I might not speak, I might even look annoyed too
People sneeze but I'm too shy to say, bless you, instead behind this mask I hide

I do miss you my close friend though physically we aren't that close anymore
fear and distance on this social soul have clearly taken a tedious toll
I guess we ought to be penpals, I'm not much of a writer but let's give it a go
I am no longer around, but in spirit you still have this hand and all our memories to hold
