Friendship Scars
Five years ago, I was queueing,
To submit my essay about travelling,
Behind me was a small, plump girl,
Who might be a true friend.
Every day we met after school,
She was quite shy, not too cool,
We played in the field with a ball,
I guess she wasn't too bad after all.
One year later I became a prefect,
I always tried my best to be perfect,
She was still as shy as ever,
So I decided to help her.
For two years I taught her how to speak up,
Keep her posture straight, a personality that pops,
She was starting to become better,
From a timid child to a leader.
