STANDING AGAINST YOU
When you see yourself cry,
You know your pains,
You have seen yourself try,
And loose all of your gains.
When you see yourself lie,
You know your crimes,
You know what you’re forced by,
You know all your fake lines.
When you see yourself hide,
You know what you are hiding,
You know how your smiles lie,
And you cry only when its raining.
People see you smile,
They see you laughing,
But the truth behind that happy pile,
Nobody sees that, they are just clapping.
They laugh with you,
But they never see you break,
They are so busy to get the clue,
They turn their back when your façade starts to creak.
Now you are alone,
Alone in this very big world,
Your friendship, your love is never set in stone,
Remember because you can never be so bold.
People will always be there standing,
Standing against you all the time,
They want you to understand they care,
Only to prove later it was not even worth a single dime.
People shall always be present,
They are always on your trail,
Eager to see you repent,
To laugh at you when you fail.
But their presence is worthless,
As they accuse you when you succeed,
When you say "I won” to their face,
It will be enough to make them bleed.
